National Day for Staff Networks 2023

The National Day for Staff Networks 2023 is just around the corner, and the theme for this year is #StayingStrong. On Wednesday 10th May 2023, we are calling all staff networks in the UK (and beyond) to stay strong as they continue #MakingWorkBetter for their members and wider organisation.

#StayingStrong means focusing on three key areas: wellbeing, allyship and sustainability. For wellbeing, we want network leaders to consider what they can do to stay strong and support the wellbeing of their members. With allyship, we're asking allies and advocates to understand what they can do to help the network stay strong, and with sustainability, we want to explore how we can support networks in their sustainable development.

In the lead-up to the National Day for Staff Networks, we will be running a series of webinars based on these three sub-themes. These webinars will be free to attend, but registration is required. Whether you're a network leader, steering committee member, network member, senior champion, ally or EDI lead, we invite you to attend these webinars and support networks as they strive to make work better.

National Day for Staff Networks isn't just about the day itself, but it's about the movement! It's an opportunity for employee networks across the United Kingdom to rise up as a community and lead the way for change in the workplace. Networks can be an effective voice for the business and work all colleagues to create a more inclusive environment where all employees who want to can progress. While worthwhile, this is not an easy feat, and we encourage networks to continue #StayingStrong.

When networks understand their Network Value Proposition, they can demonstrate how they add value to the workplace environment and business outcomes and harness their innovation, amplify their voice and advocate for inclusion. By doing this, change happens, and they are #MakingWorkBetter.
