We are seeking to recruit a bank of Technical staff who are available to work during the academic year and will be available to work at short notice, including some Saturdays.
You will need to be highly motivated with excellent knowledge of using creative software and IT resources used in a busy art & design environment.
Excellent communication skills are essential as is a flexible approach. You will be required to be adaptable, and work effectively in a changing environment, demonstrating techniques as well as providing support and guidance to staff and students on undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes in the workshops and studios of NTU School of Art & Design.
You will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to communicate ideas of a complex or technical nature to students effectively using a variety of methods and have a detailed knowledge of the techniques and equipment through teaching, and/or industry experience.
Experience in one of the following areas is essential;
- Graphic Design
You will be educated to NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds Level 3, 2 A Levels, ONC/OND or equivalent in a relevant subject area. An in-depth knowledge of Health and Safety regulations are required and ideally knowledge of relevant Health and Safety as applied to a Higher Education environment.
