Teaching Associate - Anatomy and Physiology

Job Description

We are seeking a Teaching Associate to join our highly multidisciplinary community of academics, researchers, and teachers to deliver Human Anatomy teaching in the School of Biosciences. You will work with colleagues focusing on integrating new anatomy digital technology platforms into the curriculum along with acting as an advocate for new technologies across other programs and modules, taking advantage of the significant institutional investment in the new technologies. You will also take the lead in promoting Anatomy technology in Open days/Outreach activities in addition to developing a suite of Anatomy-based capstone projects which could be supervised by non-Anatomy specialists.

Applicants must have a PhD (or equivalent experience) in a subject allied to Human Anatomy and/or Physiology or a MSc in Anatomy with Education along with demonstrable excellence in teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level. Experience of providing academic and pastoral support to students is also essential.
