Job Description

We are seeking to recruit Studio Tutors who are available to work during the academic year 2021/22 to work in the BArch Architecture Studio.

You will have knowledge and professional experience in architecture, and in particular Architectural Design and UK’s regulations.

You will work under the direction of the Head of Department, the Principal Lecturer and the programme leaders in delivering high quality teaching and learning to undergraduate and/or postgraduate students.

The principal responsibilities will include a range of studio-based activities such as group and individual design tutoring, written formative feedback during tutorial and review, and marking and moderation of student work. Teaching will be on a face-to-face in our studio spaces. Please see job description for further information.

You will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to communicate ideas of a complex or technical nature to students effectively using a variety of teaching methods, have detailed knowledge of the particular subject area through significant teaching, and / or industry experience.
