Job Description

The Directorate of Information & Library Services (ILS) is seeking to appoint a Senior Support Officer to take overall responsibility for coordinating and supervising frontline IT and audio-visual systems support for all centrally supported teaching spaces, IT labs and staff offices at the university’s historic Medway campus.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a flexible and dynamic team of multi-skilled IT support professionals. You should have experience working in a pressured IT service delivery environment and a clear user focused approach to work with the ability to respond flexibly to change and learn new skills quickly.

You must exhibit a clear, proficient customer focus, work in a calm and understanding manner, inspire confidence in users and take control of situations which could be technically unpredictable, all within an environment predicated on Service Level Agreements.
