Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Technical Services team as an IT Support Technician.

In this role, you will support IT, Media and Audio Visual facilities, including open access computer areas, IT teaching/training rooms and library computer facilities as well as lecture theatres and multi-purpose halls.

You will also assist with the maintenance of the portfolio of IT services on the site and feedback suggested improvement and comments. You will need to have a recognised, relevant qualification as well as demonstrable competence and depth of knowledge, gained through considerable work experience in the use and support of specialist equipment and software in the use of IT, Media and Audio Visual services.

This is a permanent post, 29 hours per week based at our Eastbourne site, however you will be required to travel to the University’s 3 sites in Brighton on a regular basis.
