Based from our historic Llantarnam bakery you support the Process Operators, which is the baking part of our process from raw dough mixtures.
As a weekend Process Assistant you will carry out dismantling, cleaning and reassembly of equipment as required. You will be required to maintain standards of hygiene and achieve on-target weekly and monthly audit scores.
This will be a key role in helping to enable on-target production line start up, through to thorough cleaning and correct reassembly after shut downs.
As we manufacture many amazing biscuits, we have a number of key pieces of equipment that need to be dismantling, cleaned and reassembled, such as,
- Rotary moulders
- Chocolate enrobers
- Batter, Jam and Mallow systems
Who we are looking for:
No previous experience in food or manufacturing is essential, what is important is that you are hardworking, can follow instructions, once trained can work un-supervised. Are able to gain your Level 2 food hygiene – training provided in-house at point of joining.
