We have an exciting opportunity in our department for someone with a passion for User Experience to make an impact across our services used throughout the University including staff, current and prospective students.

User Experience (UX) is a new function within IT Services and this role will demonstrate how much impact high quality user research can make. The job gives a chance to work across a wide range of systems with the aim of making them as easy to use as possible.
If you enjoy carrying out user research using a variety of research methods along with crafting audience personas and journey maps this could be the role for you.

You will have experience of using a range of user research methods and techniques and of planning and running user research sessions, as well as the ability to influence and collaborate with others to ensure research results feed through into actions and excellent communication skills to build internal and external networks.

We want our services to be as enjoyable and efficient for everyone to use. Understanding accessibility legislation and usability practices are important to ensure we are meeting the needs of all our audiences.
