Student Support Services offer a range of practical, specialist and professional support services for students operating in an integrated, student services context across all three of the Nottingham Trent University campuses.
This is an exciting opportunity for NTU students graduating in July 2021 to gain experience of working within a financial support context in the Department of Student Support Services at NTU. Reporting to the Student Funding Officer, you will support the provision of student funding advice to home students (via email, telephone, video call and face to face). You will support the organisation and delivery of funding advice to students during the enrolment period and throughout term one. You will also contribute to several events and projects to support the delivery of the work of the service.
You will receive appropriate training to become familiar with the student finance regulations and procedures affecting home students. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and demonstrate the ability to quickly familiarise yourself with procedures. You will be proficient in a range of software applications, in particular those used for remote working and communication (including MS Teams). You will have excellent organisational skills and be able to manage competing demands in a busy environment. Experience of working independently within clear boundaries is essential.
In your application (which includes an assessment form), please ensure that you state how you meet the criteria as stipulated in the person specification. This should be in addition to any supporting letter or CV that you may wish to attach.
