We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and well organised Sport Systems and Insight Officer to support with the data management/maintenance, and system support for the Sport leisure management system.

Having previous experience of data management, you will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with and interpret data. A proven ability to work well under pressure and an excellent eye for detail is required, as well as the ability to multitask and complete tasks promptly and to the highest degree of accuracy.

Knowledge of data management practice and principles, as well as good technical data skills (particularly in Excel) are essential.

To be successful in the role you will be very organised and proficient at troubleshooting technical issues as they occur, while ensuring smooth business as usual operations, offering first line support.

You will support the work of the NTU Sport department in providing high quality information and analysis that informs operational and strategic decision making.

You will have a strong track record of working collaboratively with business partners. and be able to develop a rapport with a range of stakeholders. You will also have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain flexibility with shifting responsibilities putting your customer focus and analytical skills into practice.

The successful candidate will be conscientious with good communication and interpersonal skills. In addition, you will need to be adaptable and have a flexible approach to work with availability to work at least two university open days on behalf of NTU Sport each year.
