The University of Gloucestershire is looking to appoint Senior Lecturer in Human Resource Management and Leadership within our Business School. You will focus on strategic HRM and will offer generalist HRM experience, with expertise in one or more of the following subject areas:
- Strategic Human Resource Management
- Organisational Behaviour
- Leadership and Management
- Professional Development, Coaching and Mentoring
- Work-based learning and professional practice
We have achieved an excellent reputation in the design and delivery of apprenticeship programmes across all our subject groups and have ambitions to develop this further. We have developed an international reputation for our applied research, and we are a leading business school for the quality of our teaching provision. Whilst within this post you will provide a major contribution to the research, development of pedagogy within the under- graduate and post-graduate teaching and curriculum development. You will also be appointed to the role of Course Leader for the very successful Senior Leaders Master Degree Apprenticeship programme, developing the programme in line with changes to the apprenticeship standards. You will also take an active lead in the management of apprenticeship programmes across the Business School.
The Business School boasts a £20m purpose-built building, which is also home to the Growth Hub and to the Department of Business Engagement (University in Business). This cohabitation with the business community gives our staff and students the opportunity to interact seamlessly, and on a regular basis, working on real life projects that help foster the growth of our students, businesses and the whole region’s economy. Our courses cover areas from business management, accounting, finance, law, marketing and hospitality and tourism management. The School has a growing research profile with an impressive track record in winning European research bids. The School is on track to make a strong submission to the next Research Excellence Framework
