We are now looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Digital, Data and Technology team to help us to achieve this.
You will join our award-winning Digital, Data and Technology Directorate which is the in-house IT division at the heart of the move to a digital, data-driven organisation with the ambition to provide our customers with cutting-edge digital services.
You will be part of the part of the IT Operations Practice whose responsibility is for the performance and delivery of all technical infrastructure which, underpins and supports the organisation. It consists of technical teams which provide support, monitor and operate technical solutions.
HM Land Registry’s existing software systems and services form part of the critical national infrastructure, safeguarding land and property ownership valued at £7 trillion. This enables over £1 trillion worth of personal and commercial lending to be secured against property across England and Wales.
As the Senior DevOps Engineer, you will work with our IT software development teams to support the delivery of the platform and infrastructure for our new micro service applications as part of the digital transformation of our internal and external services.
You will provide technical leadership within the team, settings standards and championing them. You will engage with other DevOps Engineers, as well as coach and support DevOps engineers and Junior DevOps Engineers.
As a technical and behavioural role model, you will take forward technical consolidation and/or improvement activities providing guidance and leadership to technicians within the IT Operations Practice and wider, whilst also working across DDaT to support and deliver solutions in line with the Technology and Business Strategies.
