This role will work alongside colleagues and associates across Advance HE to provide input to the diagnosis, design and implementation of high quality and impactful solutions and outputs for strategic consultancy and team and individual leadership development.
The Senior Adviser supports the Assistant Director to ensure the successful delivery of the Operations Plan utilising resources effectively and efficiently whilst actively promoting the values and culture of the organisation.
The Senior Adviser’s primary responsibilities will include:
- To contribute knowledge, insights and delivery relevant for leadership, organisational development and strategic consultancy;
- To work with a significant degree of autonomy to deliver strategic consultancy projects, programmes and events, including some international work and contribute to the design and delivery of high profile/complex programmes and events;
- To assist in the preparation of content for contracts, programmes, tenders, etc at proposal stages and support business development as required;
- To implement the integration of equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI), leadership, governance and management (LGM) and learning and teaching (L&T) practice within their areas of expertise;

What we offer:
This is a permanent, full time role. However, this role would also be suitable to undertake on a job-share arrangement or as a secondment for a minimum of 2 years. We ask candidates to indicate if either of these arrangements form the basis for their application on their application form.
Full time hours are 35 hours per week.
This is a home-based role with regular travel within the UK and occasionally internationally.
