We have an exciting opportunity in the School of English for someone with a passion for linguistics looking to use their skills in corpus creation and linguistic analysis to build and analyse language corpora.

In this varied and dynamic role, you will work in an interdisciplinary team to support a comprehensive analysis of the existing state of consumer understanding of plastics reuse followed by analysis of consumer behaviour to produce guidance for communicating about plastics and reuse.

We are seeking candidates with PhD or equivalent experience in linguistics or a related discipline as well as experience of corpus creation and text data collection from social media. We are also looking for expertise in organising and conducting focus groups. If you have relevant experience and would like to be involved in an innovative ISCF funded project, then we would love to hear from you.
