The Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families supports distressed children and their families through innovative therapeutic practice and research, training and promoting awareness of mental health issues. In April 2019, the Centre opened its new Centre of Excellence located in King’s Cross.
The Centre values diversity and aims to have a workforce that reflects this. We encourage applications from all sections of the community.
We wish to recruit an enthusiastic and organised part-time research assistant with a track record of effective research administration. The chosen candidate will support the day-to-day running of the Developmental Risk and Resilience Unit (DRRU) at the University College London (UCL), and contribute to the current research studies taking place at the Unit. The work of the Unit focuses on the risk and protective factors that shape how the brain processes social and emotional information in childhood.
The Centre has moved to a hybrid model of working. Staff are currently required to attend at our offices for 20% of their working hours, moving to 40% in January 2022. For face-to-face work, the post-holder will be required to attend in person at the Developmental Risk and Resilience Unit, UCL, 26 Bedford Way, London WC1H 0AP.
