Job Description
In this exciting role you will get exposure to the most senior leaders of the organisation and insight into how the organisation works at that level. No day will be the same, you will get to think on your feet, use your initiative and will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the running of the director’s day. You will become the ‘go to’ person for questions about your director and directorate and get to work as part of the Executive Hub, a team who work together to achieve goals and solve problems. There will also be the opportunity to get involved in other types of work carried out in the Chief Executives Office.

As a member of the Executive Hub, the team which supports HM Land Registry directors, you will provide administrative/secretarial support for an executive director ensuring a well organised environment and smooth running of their activities. This will include Inbox management, managing incoming correspondence/telephone calls and managing the Director’s diary. You will prioritise and manage urgent actions, support in arranging board meetings and events and ensure relevant information is available in advance of meetings. The successful candidate will be expected to provide support to other directors, the Executive Hub and Chief Executives Office colleagues as necessary.

To be successful in this role you will have effective organisational and time management skills with the ability to organise, prioritise and re-prioritise tasks depending on changing prioritise. Through your experience of working in a busy environment, you will work quickly and accurately under pressure. You will have a proven ability to communicate effectively with people at all organisational levels and work confidently to and alongside senior colleagues and stakeholders. You will react positively to change and be proactive in completing tasks. By being a team player, you will support your team to complete tasks.
