Can you help to provide a professional and effective payroll service for our Trust?
We are seeking an organised and self-motivated Payroll Administrator to join our small and friendly team from the beginning of January on a part time basis. The role is offered on a fixed term basis to cover a period of maternity leave until the end of April 2021. You will be working 18.5 hours per week ideally over 3 days, although there is a degree of flexibility with the working pattern which can be discussed at interview.
The main office base is at the University of Brighton’s Falmer campus but you will initially be based at home due to social distancing measures.
The Person
We are looking for a Payroll Administrator who is a team player but can also work on their own initiative. You will have:
- Strong administrative experience, preferably in a payroll setting
- Proficient organisation and accuracy skills with an attention to detail
- Experience of using a variety of Microsoft applications
The Role
This in an important role in ensuring that a professional and effective payroll service to staff and other key stake holders. To succeed in this role, you will need to:
- Support the team with Payroll and Pensions administration processes
- Be proficient at data input processing, checking and filing
- Respond to internal and external enquiries through emails and post
