Job Description

The purpose of the role is to produce multimedia content – including photography, audio and video – in support of projects and issues being managed by Force colleagues. Duties include to create, edit and disseminate public-facing and internal content, including audio, videos and online graphics. To produce and create multimedia content for subsequent editing in support of wider planned projects and travelling to locations when required. Other duties include to manage the Crowd Control system, dealing with social media account requests and providing usernames to access the system. To analyse and evaluate via Crowd Control in order to map social media accounts across the Force and dip sample to monitor compliance with Force policy. To assist with regularly updating social and digital media policies and procedures and to set up training sessions to help train officers and staff to use social media effectively.
