For you, this opportunity will help you gain valuable experience and skills in the creation of internally and externally focused marketing materials that communicate the Group’s strategic growth agenda and value propositions, whilst being supported and mentored by the Group Marketing team.

For us, this role will accelerate the development of impactful marketing communications to key stakeholder groups.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Graphic design

  • Understand and progress James Fisher branding in line with business initiatives, strategic positioning and target audience needs
  • Create, adapt and review design concepts and layouts suitable for a range of marketing materials (offline and online)
  • Communicate conceptual ideas to key stakeholders
  • Liaise with group companies, clients, subcontractors and all stakeholders to understand and manage project objectives and scope
  • Keep up-to-date with latest design software and trends so as to contribute and introduce innovative design ideas
  • Provide further ad-hoc marketing support to group companies and the Group marketing team as required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Educated to degree level in graphic design or possesses equivalent significant experience
  • Mac literate and proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Essential)
  • Proficiency with video editing software (After Effects, Premiere Pro etc.) (Desirable)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Confident with Microsoft Office
