Job Description

The School of Health and Social Care is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Paramedic to take on a fractional role within the academic lecturing team. The University offers an innovative Paramedic Science programme to support the growing workforce for Gloucestershire and beyond. This post also offers an exciting opportunity for you to be involved in moving the School of Health and Social Care forward with its strategic plan to deliver a sustainable health and social care workforce for Gloucestershire in collaboration with our strategic healthcare partners.

You will have substantial clinical experience, experience of educational delivery and of supporting students. You must be a Paramedic registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and hold a degree in a relevant subject area and have or be working towards a postgraduate qualification.

As an academic you will be expected to have a Post Graduate Certificate in Education or complete the University of Gloucestershire’s Post Graduate Certificate in Academic Practice in the first year of your appointment.
