We have an excellent opportunity for you to build on your previous experience of drafting and negotiating commercial agreements to use your skills to support industrially funded research projects.
In this role you will be based in Research Services, drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts for research and innovation projects for our Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre and Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre. You will build professional relationships with key internal and external partners to understand the needs of our researchers, how our research will drive intellectual advances to industrial challenges and therefore and translate this into contracts which support the University of Sheffield’s aims and those of our funders and partners.
- able to confidently manage relationships with key service users;
- experienced in drafting legal contractual terms;
- someone who can find pragmatic solutions and compromise to ensure the contracts are suitable for the work to be
