We are currently looking to recruit a number of staff for zero hours contracts to support our teaching provision across specialise areas of fashion, textiles and knitwear design at both postgraduate and undergraduate level.
Proven industry and/ or teaching experience in one or more of the below:
- Pattern Cutting
- Garment Manufacturing
- Fashion Design
We are seeking to recruit lecturers who are available to work during the academic year and will be paid on an hourly basis. The teaching and/or demonstrator support may include daytime, evening or weekend working.
You will work under the direction of the Principal Lecturer who manages the course or courses of which you contribute in delivering high quality teaching and learning to undergraduate / postgraduate students. Duties may include preparation, delivery, and marking.
You will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to communicate ideas of a complex design or technical nature to students effectively using a variety of teaching methods, have detailed knowledge of the particular subject area through previous teaching, and /or industry experience.
