Hourly Paid Academic Services Administrator

Job Description

To help manage fluctuations in staffing and resource levels we are currently recruiting to a temporary role.  We are looking for someone who has a good range of office administration skills with a proactive approach to solving problems.   We are currently looking for someone who can work up to 18.5 hours per week until 22nd December 2021.

The Academic Services team works in partnership with academic schools and other professional departments to provide a professional, high quality, and customer-focused service in support of the University’s academic mission and strategic priorities including an outstanding student experience.  Each academic school has a bespoke team that works in partnership with school colleagues to support the academic endeavour of the School.

Candidates require a positive, professional approach along with good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines from a variety of stakeholders.  Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work using your own initiative will also be very important in the role; along with a critical mind to actively assess situations and take an alternative approach when necessary.
