The Assistant’s role is primarily to assist & support students in the Performing Arts & Production studios and workshops, working with the Academic team members and technician to support teaching and student activities and maintain facilities in the School of Arts.
The post holder will have a high commitment to customer service as well as a flexible and multi-skilled approach. Team working and the provision of customer-focused services in a practice based environment are important aspects of the role. The post holder is also required to be flexible in his/her approach to duties. Training in the use of specialist equipment will be provided if necessary, but the successful post holder will be required to have the broad range of skills and knowledge relevant to supporting practitioners in the Performing Arts, specifically drama and theatre.
