The Translational Energy Research Centre (TERC) and Sustainable Aviation Fuel Innovation Centre (SAF-IC) are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced electrical, control and instrumentation (EC&I) engineering technician to
join our team.
Working on sustainable energy generation and low carbon technologies that will tackle climate change, you will take responsibility for the electrical, control and instrumentation systems at our unique and exciting pilot-scale industrial plant, which is home to equipment including carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) rigs, waste to energy equipment, a hydrogen electrolyser and biomass gasifiers.
TERC is one of the largest and best-equipped pilot-scale research and development facilities in Europe. SAF-IC is a bespoke research centre for the development and testing of sustainable aviation fuels which is the first of its kind in the UK. SAF-IC will also act as a clearing house to help producers and users of sustainable aviation fuels approve their products for application.
