Job Description

We are looking for a Director of Strategy and Innovation to identify and implement a series of future-looking big ideas that will transform youth employment over the next 10 years. You will build and oversee a team responsible for both the strategic development of these big ideas and the partnership building, policy work and campaigning to get them adopted and implemented.


Key details

Salary: £75,000 – £85,000 per annum

Benefits: We offer 28 days holiday per year, plus public holidays and volunteering days. We operate a stakeholder pension scheme with 6% employer contribution (and 5% employee contribution) and a generous staff training budget. .

Agile working:  Flexible working is a recognised and valued part of the way we do things, with existing staff opting for a range of different working patterns. All new team members will be provided with a work phone and laptop to enable them to work in a range of locations.

Location:  Birmingham, Leeds or London.

Key dates

We are planning to run all interviews via video conference due to the current Covid-19 travel and meeting restrictions. However, in the event the restrictions are relaxed sufficiently in time, we will look to run the assessment centre and / or final interviews face to face.

Closing date: 22nd May

First stage interview: 4th June – 12th June | Virtual

Panel interview: 25th June – 2nd July | London

Final interview: w/c 6th July | London
