NTU has a thriving academic community, and it’s one where you’ll feel truly valued. We know our academics are central to our success as an award-winning university, and research centre of excellence.

Our rise up the league tables in recent years, alongside a number of prestigious national awards, demonstrate the potential that creating and forging excellent partnerships, while harnessing the talents of all our people, can bring. Most notably we have achieved a gold rating in the Teaching Excellence Framework and been awarded the Queen’s Anniversary Prize for our pioneering research. Now we’re looking for more passionate, ambitious people to join us.

Nottingham Business School (NBS) at Nottingham Trent University (NTU) is internationally recognised as one of the world’s leading business schools, providing education and research that combines academic excellence with impact on business and society.  NBS is quadruple crown school, accredited by EQUIS, AACSB, SBC, and EFMD, and is also a UN PRME Champion. The accreditation bodies recognise NBS as the leaders in personalisation of education, experiential learning, high impact research, sustainability and connectivity to business. In all our work we aim to combine excellence in research, education and external engagement and deliver a positive impact on people, business and society.

NBS is a place for well-rounded academics who care deeply about making a positive difference. Our academics are provided with the support to develop their ideas, work with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and excel in bringing forward innovations that keep NBS as a leading force in business, management and economics research and education.

The Department of Marketing is one of NBS’ five departments with 52 academic colleagues covering a range of Marketing disciplines. The Department has been very successful in expanding and enhancing its activities across a range of areas including research, scholarship and commercial engagement, and plans to continue this growth over the next 5 years.

To support this growth we are looking for well-rounded academics who will excel in a recognised marketing field, have a positive attitude, and wish to be part of a forward-looking Department, a great business school community, and a caring University that prides itself on being an inclusive employer with a strong reputation for supporting colleagues and helping them to achieve their full potential.

For further information/details we encourage potential applicants to contact either Malcolm Sullivan, Head of Department (malcolm.sullivan@ntu.ac.uk) or Professor Dorina-Maria Buda, Head of the MACS Research Centre (dorina-maria.buda@ntu.ac.uk)
